Black Flag is a punk rock band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California by Greg Gin, who has been primary the guitarist, songwriter, and only continuous member since their existence. They have released seven studio albums and are widely considered to be one of the first hardcore punk bands, and pioneers of post-hardcore rock.
