Raleigh’s Boulevards brings a swampy, Southern-infused take on funk that begs for live consumption. Cutting his teeth on synth driven, Rick James-esque tunes, Boulevards has continued evolving throughout the years while maintaining a strong focus on grooves. His recent Electric Cowboy: Born in Carolina Mud proved to be an inventive and invigorating take on the funk traditions.
