The Charlotte Knights will welcome the Hornets’ second overall pick in 2023 NBA Draft, Brandon Miller to Truist Field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch against the Nashville Sounds (Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers). Miller, a Tennessee native will also be a guest on the Charlotte Knights pre-game show with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. This is the Charlotte Knights last home stand of the season with the series against the Nashville Sounds ending on Sunday.

Growing up in Antioch, Tennessee, Miller was named Gatorade Player of the Year twice in the state, and was Tennessee’s Mr. Basketball in his senior year of high school as well as a McDonald’s All-American. In his only season at Alabama, Miller was named the SEC Player of the Year, SEC Rookie of the Year, and first-team All-Conference.

Wednesday night is also a “Bark in the Ballpark” game, so you can bring your dog out to Truist Field to enjoy the fun at the ballpark. The evening will feature $1 hot dogs and $8 Cupcake Vineyards wine.
