Composer Steve Hackman presents his latest creation, Beethoven x Beyoncé, fusing the music of R&B/pop icon Beyoncé and classical legend Beethoven. In collaboration with Charlotte Symphony, they’ll blend Beethoven’s joyous Seventh Symphony with fifteen of Beyoncé’s biggest hits including “Girls,” “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies,” “Sorry,” “Halo,” “Cuff It,” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Hackman is well known for his orchestral fusions with past compositions including Brahms X Radiohead and The Resurrection Mixtape (mixing Mahler with Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur).
