Fortune Feimster is a comedian and writer who was born in Charlotte and raised in Belmont, North Carolina. Feimster was drawn to comedy at an early age as an avid fan of Saturday Night Live and comedian Carol Burnette, and made her television debut on NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2010. She has appeared on shows such as Chelsea Lately, The Mindy Project, and Kenan, in addition to making numerous big screen cameos. Feimster also co-hosts a radio show, What a Joke with Papa and Fortune, with fellow comedian Tom Papa on Sirius XM, and has her own podcast, Sincerely Fortune, with her partner Jacquelyn (Jax) Smith. She released her latest Netflix special, Good Fortune, in 2022.
