The Gene Brown Beatdown returns to Charlotte with legendary producers going head-to-head playing their biggest hits and hottest beats. The May lineup will feature Statik Selektah vs. Scram Jones, Marco Polo vs. Apollo Brown and Easy Mo Bee vs. Buckwild with special guest performances by Skyzoo, Termanology, and more. Skyzoo is coming off his latest album, The Mind of a Saint, which was released in January.
An event curated by industry tastemaker Gene Brown, the battle brings together some of hip-hop’s finest hitmakers celebrating the culture, past and present. There’s also a pre-party Friday night at Crown Station.
