Comedian Hasan Minhaj will return to Charlotte this week for two shows at Knight Theater for his Off With His Head Tour. The Emmy and Peabody Award-winning comedian is best known for his work on The Daily Show as a senior correspondent from 2014 to 2018, and for his speech at the 2017 White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Minhaj released his first Netflix stand-up comedy special, Homecoming King, in 2017, followed by his own show, Patriot Act, from 2018 to 2020, which both earned him Peabody Awards. In 2019, Minhaj was listed in Time magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. He released his latest one-hour comedy special, The King’s Jester, in October of 2022, and hosted the 38th Independent Spirit Awards in 2023. Minhaj is also set to co-star in the upcoming comedy film, Babes, written by Ilana Glazer, scheduled to be released on May 17.
