Their latest album, 2020’s LX, lives out loud and playfully, pulling in rockabilly twangs with “Snakes and Their Horses” and “Cricket Rider,” while inviting listeners onto the dance floor with clapping beats and stomps on tracks like “New Earbuds” and “13 ½.”

Shakes released two more EPs and another studio album, The Spirit, in 2020. The band also recently released a three-song EP, Everything Changes, in November.
