Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will perform in Charlotte this week at Ovens Auditorium. Isbell is coming off his ninth studio album, Weathervanes, which won the Grammy for Best Americana Album in 2023. Last year, we was the subject of the HBO documentary, Jason Isbell: Running With Our Eyes Closed, directed by Sam Jones. He also played the role of Bill Smith in the 2023 Martin Scorsese-directed Western crime drama, Killers of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. Isbell recently performed at the Democratic National Convention in August.

Alejandro Escovedo is a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose work spans various genres, including punk rock, roots rock, and alternative country. With numerous solo albums and collaborations since 1992, his latest, Echo Dancing, was released on March 29 through Yep Roc Records.
