David Prince, better known as Laid Back Country Picker, is a country rock guitarist and singer-songwriter. He was the former social studies teacher of country/folk star Tyler Childers and now is signed to Childers’ Hickman Holler record label. A 20-year social studies teacher, in 2010, Prince was Kentucky Council’s Social Studies Teacher of the Year. Prince is joined on stage with his wife, Teresa Prince, who also fronts country rock band, Luna and the Mountain Jets.
