Charlotte’s Modern Moxie released a new EP, Tripping the Light Fantastic, in August. The indie rock band fronted by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Madison Lucas, have been busy over the past year, opening for Echo and The Bunnymen (The Fillmore), The Aces (The Underground), and The Dollyrots (Neighborhood Theatre). The new project follows their 2019 debut, Claw Your Way Out, and 2022 EP, Gutter Honey.
The band also recently released a music video for the song, “RPG,” inspired by John Carpenter’s science fiction horror film, They Live, filmed at Super Abari Game Bar.
Rikki Rakki is a Richmond, Virginia consisting of singer-songwriter Erika Blatnik’s, Matt Luger (guitar, synths), Andy Brown (bass), and Jay Kole (drums).
