Queen City Zine Fest is back for its 2024 event celebrating the world of self-published zines, comics, illustrations, chapbooks, and small press editions. This year’s event is a part of Charlotte International Arts Festival and will take over the Knight Theater lobby and plaza, transforming the space into a hub for independent publishing. Attendees will discover a wide variety of self-published printed content, showcasing the best in DIY culture from across the region with over 80 artists. The festival offers a unique platform for the exchange of ideas, creativity, and education, along with hands-on workshops, live readings, and panel discussions. The event is family-friendly, free to attend, and open to the public.
