Pedal steel guitar virtuoso Robert Randolph will perform in uptown Saturday night at First Ward Park for Charlotte Shout. Randolph, who has released six studio albums with his gospel blues rock group, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, and has collaborated with artists such as John Medeski, Derek Trucks, Eric Clapton, Ben Harper, Leon Russell, Trombone Shorty, and Carlos Santana. He’ll be joined by Charlotte folk/soul violinist and singer-songwriter Emanuel Wynter as an opening act.
