Charlotte post-funk rock band The Business People return to Petra’s Friday night with Noir Noir and The Phantom Friends. Reuniting in 2019, The Business People released two short EPs, Spring in 2019 and Summer in 2018 following their EP Dirty Feelings in 2016.
The Phantom Friends are a high-energy Charlotte-based indie rock act that brings heavy hooks and vivacious rhythms to the forefront. The Phantom Friends blend synthesizers and guitars as leading instruments with a breakneck rhythms section that propels their tracks forward. The band released their latest single, “Can’t You See,” in December 2022.
Noir Noir is an indie rock band from Charlotte who released their debut single, “New Name,” in April.
