¡Tumbao! is a high-energy Raleigh-based neo-Latin jazz band formed in 2019, consisting of Diego Avilez (piano, vocals), Rey Riera (congas), Julian Denton (bass), Logan Maxwell (saxophone), AJ Reynolds (saxophone), Rody Josué Huertas (trombone), Aaron Lane (trumpet), Tommy Quinn (guitar), Mike Buckley (guitar), and Ryan Masecar (drums). The bands sound reflects the many different musical flavors of Latin America like salsa, funk, rock, and R&B.
Alexa Jenson is a Charlotte-based folk rock singer-songwriter and musician who released her debut self-titled EP in 2018. She released a new single, “Just You Wait,” on June 28.
