A special 50th anniversary screening of the acclaimed documentary, Wattstax, presented by Charlotte-based film festival, CineOdyssey. Based on the 1972 benefit concert organized by the fabled Stax Records to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the 1965 riots in Watts, the film features performances by Isaac Hayes, The Staples Singers, Johnnie Taylor, and Richard Pryor.
