Wobegon is a jazz/folk ensemble led by saxophonist, clarinetist and composer Aaron Irwin named after the fictional town of Lake Wobegon from A Prairie Home Companion. Irwin creates whimsical compositions exploring themes of community, nostalgia, and hope complemented by the exceptional musicianship of guitarist Mike Baggetta and drummer Jeff Hirshfield.
Ghost Trees are an avant, free jazz duo from Charlotte composed of musicians Brent Bagwell on tenor saxophone and Seth Nanaa on drums. The band released their latest album, Universal Topics, in 2021.
