In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Jazz Room welcomes world-renowned Grammy-nominated saxophonist Tia Fuller and jazz pianist Shamie Royston. A member of Beyoncé’s original all-female band, Tia Fuller has toured the world, performing for President Barack Obama at the White House and appearing on the Today Show, Good Morning America, and Oprah. Fuller has released five full-length albums with her quartet, receiving a Grammy nomination for her 2019 album, Diamond Cut. She was also a featured Jazz musician in Pixar’s animated film, Soul, released in 2020. Fuller will be performing with her sister, renown jazz pianist Shamie Royston on March 16 and with her quartet March 17-18.

Presented by JazzArts Charlotte, The Jazz Room provides a casual and intimate setting reminiscent of the classic jazz rooms of yesteryear.
