Yahritza y Su Esencia is a sibling regional Mexican group from Washington state’s Yakima Valley, specializing in the urban sierreño sub-genre. Consisting of Yahritza Martínez (vocals, acoustic guitar), Armando Martínez (twelve-string guitar), and Jairo Martínez (acoustic bass), the band was nominated for Latin Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Norteño Album for Obsessed, their debut album released on April 22, 2022.
