Romare Bearden Park will transform into ‘House of Soccer’ fan fest for the International Champions Cup

Relevant Sports Group, the operators of the International Champions Cup soccer match in Charlotte (Arsenal and Fiorentina on July 20) will bring their immersive pop-up ‘House of Soccer’ event to Romare Bearden Park on July 19 and 20. The event will feature live music, food trucks, gaming stations, a beer garden, and is expected to draw thousands of soccer fans in the region.

Relevant Sports Group also announced the signing of a five-year deal with Bank of America Stadium to host international soccer matches in Charlotte. This marks the first long-term deal between the group and a host city, building Charlotte’s commitment to bringing major soccer events to the city.

The traveling southern hip-hop show Grits & Biscuits will be performing on Friday night with country artist Walker Hayes set perform on Saturday. More acts and celebrities will be announced in the coming days.

House of Soccer will be held July 19-20 at Romare Bearden Park and S. Mint Street.

Here’s a breakdown of the schedule:

Friday, July 19

5:00 p.m. – Doors open with hosts The Cooligans, beats by DJ A-Minor, food trucks, beer garden, soccer contests, and gaming stations

6:00 p.m. – Freestylers, featuring Indi & Skye Cowie & DJ Diveny exhibition, sounds by Hembree

7:00 p.m. – All-Star match featuring: Heather O’Reilly, Cody Zeller (Hornets), Ray Parlour (Arsenal legend), John Harkes, Wes Knight, Mike Harrington, Indi & Skye, Cowie & DJ Diveny, Daniel Araujo, Kurt Coleman, Charles Johnson, Jonathan Stewart, Tre Boston, and Dwan Edwards

Argentina National Team – Florencia Galarza

8:30 p.m. – Headliner performance by Grits & Biscuits

Saturday, July 20

12:00 p.m. – Doors open with hosts The Cooligans, Fan Prep Zone, Freestyle clinics, soccer contests, gaming stations, food trucks, and beer garden

2:00 p.m. – The Creative Player Foundation clinic with special guest Megan Rapinoe

3:30 p.m. – Special performance by singer, songwriter, Walker Hayes

4:00 p.m. – Fan Prep Zone face painting and body marbling in team colors

4:30 p.m. – Special Appearance (TBA)

5:00 p.m. – Supporters March to the Arsenal vs. ACF Fiorentina match

6:00 p.m. – Arsenal vs. ACF Fiorentina match at Bank of America Stadium
