Sigur Rós will perform with a 41-piece orchestra at Durham Performing Arts Center in September

Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós have added eight tour dates in 2024 with the 41-piece Wordless Music Orchestra. The tour will make one stop in North Carolina, coming to Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) on September 28. Performing songs from their latest album, ÁTTA, released in 2023, they’ll also cover their expansive eight-album catalog on tour.

This is the first time Sigur Rós will be performing in North Carolina since 2016 (Asheville at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium). Presale will begin on Tuesday, March 5 at 10 a.m. and tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m.

September 21 – Chicago (Auditorium)
September 23 – Philadelphia (The Met)
September 25 – Washington D.C. (Anthem)
September 28 – Durham (DPAC)
September 30 – Miami (Adrienne Arsht)
October 2 – Nashville (Ryman Auditorium)
October 4 – Austin (Bass Concert Hall)
