Charlotte Motor Speedway is kicking off the holiday season with its 10th annual Speedway Christmas. From astounding displays of lights and decorations to holiday exhibits and events, the Speedway is sure to get the whole family into the Christmas spirit. Speedway Christmas will run from November 22 to January 5 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with the exception of Christmas day.

For the season, racing fans will see the 3.75 mile course transformed into a dazzling drive-thru light show featuring an array of over 4 million LED lights. This year’s theme will take Christmas to the Sarengeti as guests drive through Santa’s Safari. For the full effect of the illuminated winter wonderland, guests can tune in to 101.3 FM to listen to Christmas music while they enjoy the light exhibit.

Kids will also have the opportunity to engage in crafts activities and visit Santa.

Outside, the Bethlehem Village will host rides and entertainment from 100 ft slides to the 50 ft Ferris wheel, and carousel. Visitors can also explore the 100 ft walkway of lights and warm up by the fire pits and roast s’mores.
