Tosco Music, the Charlotte-based nonprofit organization, has been bringing the community music experiences for over 30 years. From their cozy living rooms sessions in their quaint beginnings to their large music party at Knight Theater in 2019, the organization has had to adjust like many in the live music arena.
Normally hosting a multitude of events throughout the year, Tosco Music has announced they will take their music party digital, hosting a free virtual event on May 9, featuring North Carolina’s soulful trio The Hamiltones, YouTube folk sensations The Other Favorites, Griffin House, Bob Malone, Rudy Currence, Noel Freidline, Maria Howell, Courtney Lynn & Quinn, and many more.
The event will raise money to support the local music community and musicians through the Charlotte Music Community COVID-19 Relief Fund, a new effort by Music Everywhere CLT.
The Virtual Tosco Music Party will stream live at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 on Facebook.
