Back in January, Discovery Place Science announced the upgrade of their old film projection format with IMAX’s next-generation 4K laser technology system in partnership with Accenture.
According to Discovery Place Science, the IMAX technology is capable of filling a full dome screen with maximum resolution and sharpness with industry-leading contrast. The system also boasts impressive audio utilizing state-of-the-art sound technology that features six laser-aligned loudspeakers that distribute equal volume throughout the theater.
You can experience the full force of the upgraded technology when the highly anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opens in theaters nationwide in November. In fact, a select group will be able to watch the movie on Thursday, November 10, the night before the film officially opens in theaters the following day.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will screen at the new Accenture IMAX Dome Theatre November 10-27. Tickets are $21.95 for those 14 to 59 years old, $19.95 for children 2 to 13 and seniors (age 60+).
