After announcing the expansion of Dreamville Fest to two days back in September, Dreamville has finally revealed the lineup for its highly anticipated second iteration, set to take place April 2-3 at Raleigh’s Dorothea Dix Park.

Dreamville Fest 2019

This year’s lineup will be headlined by Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, Kehlani, Wale, Moneybagg Yo, and Jeezy, along with Dreamville’s own Ari Lennox, EarthGang, J.I.D, Bas, Lute, Cozz, and of course, J. Cole. According to the press release, Dreamville Festival 2022 will also feature the first-ever live performance of DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz with Lil Wayne, Jeezy, and T.I., as well as an on-stage reunion between Ja Rule and Ashanti.

In April 2019, after being postponed from its original September 2018 date due to Hurricane Florence, Dreamville Fest drew over 40,000 fans to its inaugural event at Raleigh’s largest city park, Dorothea Dix Park. The lineup featured acts like SZA, Ari Lennox, 21 Savage, Teyana Taylor, 6LACK, Big Sean, Young Thug, J.I.D, Rapsody, and many more.

Co-founded and curated by Dreamville head honcho and Fayetteville, North Carolina native J. Cole, the festival will showcase not only some of the biggest acts in music but also art installations, along with local food trucks and vendors. Cole is coming off the release of his sixth studio album, The Off-Season, which is nominated for Best Rap Album at this year’s 64th Annual Grammy Awards. He last performed in North Carolina in September 2021 in Greensboro with 21 Savage and Morray.
