Masterful genre-benders and virtuosos at their respective instruments, Béla Fleck (banjo), Zakir Hussain (tabla) and Edgar Meyer (double bass) perform a special set in Charlotte at Belk Theater with famed bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) player Rakesh Chaurasia. From bluegrass to Western classical to Indian classical to jazz, they transcend genres, creating something uniquely their own. The quartet’s new album, As We Speak, is due out on May 12, and will be available for purchase in the Belk Lobby exclusively for attendees.
