Grammy Award-winning superstar Beyoncé will be in town for her long-awaited world tour coming off of her seventh studio album, Renaissance. Beyoncé kicked off her international tour in May and will perform in Charlotte at Bank of America Stadium on Wednesday night.
This will be Beyoncé’s first tour since her co-headlining On the Run II Tour with husband Jay-Z, which came through Columbia, South Carolina in 2018. It will Beyoncé’s first time performing in Charlotte since 2013’s The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, which came to Time Warner Cable Arena (now Spectrum Center).
Renaissance, was revealed as the first act in what will be a three-part series, and was released on July 29, 2022, immediately reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album was nominated for nine Grammy Awards including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.
