Started in 2016, BOOM Charlotte returns for its seventh year this weekend showcasing visual art, dance, music, poetry, theater, and films created on the fringes of popular culture. The three-day festival at Camp North End consists of two distinct parts: BOOM Fringe and BOOM Intersection.
BOOM Fringe is a series of experimental art performances taking place in intimate settings with ticketed events created by local artists. BOOM Intersection is a free event that showcases a broad range of art performed on a central stage with interactive installations and activities.
