The Mint Museum and JazzArts Charlotte presents a special one-night-only Jazz Room event with three-time Grammy Award-winning saxophonist, composer, and bandleader, Branford Marsalis and his quartet. Performing the classic 2003 album, Romare Bearden Revealed, recorded in celebration of the Romare Bearden exhibit which opened at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., this special show coincides with the Mint’s Bearden/Picasso: Rhythms and Reverberations exhibit running through May 21.
The Jazz Room, JazzArts Charlotte’s monthly event series provides a casual and intimate setting with tables and a full bar, reminiscent of the classic jazz rooms of yesteryear.
