Charlotte’s annual literary festival, EpicFest, connects children, teens and families with books and authors through activities that encourage reading and learning. In its sixth year, the book lovers festival for all ages will feature arts, crafts, activities, face painting, reading games, glitter tattoos, a K-pop dance floor, book giveaways, costumed characters, and a musical performance by Schoolhouse Rock Live! presented by Children’s Theatre of Charlotte.

Several renowned children’s and young adult authors and illustrators will also be on hand to share their latest books, experiences, and passion for libraries.

Guest authors and illustrators include: Ashley Belote, Dare Coulter, Judy Allen Dodso, Saadia Faruqi, Margaret Peterson Haddix, Jessica Kim, Eleanor Spicer Rice, and Jeffery Boston Weatherford.
