Contemporary abstract artist Frankie Zombie will host his first solo art show Saturday at Camp North End. The co-star of the Magnolia Network’s new show, Artfully Designed, Zombie may be familiar to many in Charlotte from his contribution to the Black Lives Matter street mural in Uptown and his sneaker painting classes at The Gantt. The former music producer also recently designed an “Art Car” for NASCAR and has worked with brands such as Mercedes-Benz, HBO, NBA TV, and many more. 

Zombie’s solo art show, 2’s Of A Woman, is described more as an experience than a traditional exhibit. It’s also deeply personal to Zombie who says he will reveal vulnerability and emotions through several mediums with 18 pieces of original art. 

“This show represents my journey and the impact that women have played In my life for 34 years on this earth, and so this evening is a moment of gratitude and appreciation to all Queens,” said Zombie.

In addition to the art, there will be small bites by James Beard nominated chef, Sam Hart (Counter and Biblio) with complimentary drinks. Zombie also promises some surprise musical guest performances.
