Renowned and accomplished musician, Joshua Redman, the son of avant-garde jazz saxophonist, Dewey Redman, will headline a special Jazz Room at Booth Playhouse with vocalist Gabrielle Cavassa and his quartet featuring Aaron Parks, Joe Sanders, and Brian Blade. Performing songs from his collaborative album with Cavassa, Where Are We, released through famed Blue Note Records, it’s one of only a few tour dates in the U.S. for Redman this year.

A Harvard graduate, eight-time Grammy-nominee, and winner of the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition, Redman has performed with legends across multiple genres including Herbie Hancock, B.B. King, Yo Yo Ma, The Rolling Stones, and Quincy Jones.

The Jazz Room, now in its 19th season, is a concert series produced by JazzArts Charlotte providing a casual and intimate setting with a full bar, reminiscent of the classic jazz rooms of yesteryear.
