Renowned astrophysicist, author, and television personality Neil deGrasse Tyson will make a special appearance in Charlotte at Belk Theater on March 11. Tyson will guide attendees through cool and unique occurrences in the universe such as Black Holes, Dark Matter, Dark Energy, Diamond stars, Gamma-ray bursts, White Holes, Wormholes, and Multiverses.
Tyson studied at Harvard, Columbia, and Princeton, becoming the Director of The Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York in 1996. He has written several books on astrophysics, and hosted shows on PBS, National Geographic Channel, and FOX.
