Coming off the release of her long-awaited Pink Friday 2 album on December 8, Nicki Minaj has announced a U.S. tour– her first since 2016. Minaj will make a stop in Charlotte on March 26 at Spectrum Center for the first time since The Pinkprint Tour in 2015.
The sequel to her debut studio album, Pink Friday, released in 2010 through Young Money/Cash Money, Pink Friday 2 features collaborations with J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Drake, Future, and 50 Cent. The release debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, which made her the first female rapper to earn three chart-topping albums.
Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Monica, best known for her late ’90s hits “The Boy Is Mine” and “Angel of Mine,” will open the show.
