Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award-winner George Clinton and his legendary Parliament-Funkadelic collective, have announced a U.S. tour coming to Raleigh (The Ritz) on August 9 and Charlotte (The Fillmore) on August 10. The influential 81-year-old bandleader and singer-songwriter along with Parliament-Funkadelic (the group of musicians consisting of members from funk bands Parliament and Funkadelic) will be joined by Los Angeles ska-funk outfit Fishbone, New Orleans funk group Dumpstaphunk, and legendary bassist and singer-songwriter George Porter Jr. on select dates.
