Pylon Reenactment Society is an off-shoot band of the new wave/post-punk group, Pylon, from Athens, Georgia. Since 2014, Vanessa Briscoe Hay (vocalist for Pylon), has fronted Pylon Reenactment Society which also features members of Athens bands, The Glands and Casper & the Cookies.
It’s Snakes are an indie rock quartet consisting of Hope Nicholls on vocals and drums, Aaron Pitkin and Greg Walsh on dueling guitars, and Darrin Gray on bass. Nicholls and Pitkin were also members of Fetchin Bones, who were inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2023. It’s Snakes released their latest album, Yes, in September.
Pink Eye is a punk rock band from Black Mountain, North Carolina, consisting of Chad Clay (drums, vocals), Joe Hooten (guitar, vocals), John Kennedy (guitar, vocals), and Scott Sturdy (bass, vocals). The band released their debut album, Everything Is Stupid, in August.
