Esteemed folk singer-songwriters and musicians, Ray LaMontagne and Gregory Alan Isakov, will bring their co-headlining tour to Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre this week. LaMontagne and Isakov will be joined by Nashville indie folk artist, Erin Rae.

LaMontagne, who rose to prominence in the mid-2000s with his debut album, Trouble, is known for his soulful and emotive blend of folk and blues, winning a Grammy (Best Contemporary Folk Album) in 2010 for God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise with his band, the Pariah Dogs. LaMontagne last performed in Charlotte in 2018, and released a new album, Long Way Home, on August 16.

South African-born, Colorado-based folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gregory Alan Isakov is coming off his recent collaborations with Noah Kahan and Jeremiah Fraites (The Lumineers), and the release of Appaloosa Bones, his first album since 2018’s Evening Machines, which was nominated for Best Folk Album at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards in 2019.

Erin Rae, is an indie folk-pop artist from Nashville, who originally performed as part of Erin Rae & the Meanwhiles. Rae collaborated with Kevin Morby on the song, “Can’t See Stars,” on her 2022 album, Lighten Up, also appearing on Tyler Childers’ 2023 album, Rustin’ in the Rain.
