Coming off the announcement of his new album, Love is War, and a packed listening party that took place at BeSocial on Tuesday night, Reuben Vincent has announced a surprise album release party on Friday, January 27 at Neighborhood Theatre.

“Last night was so real, the whole city pulled up for me, the whole tribe, and I hate the fact that I couldn’t see everyone’s faces and reaction to the project. So in order to celebrate, we turnin’ shit up Friday,” Vincent wrote in his Instagram post announcing the show.

The concert will feature Jamla label head and legendary hip-hop producer 9th Wonder, who discovered Vincent, along with fast-rising Queen City rapper Mavi, Dreamville’s Lute, neo-soul songtress Cyanca, R&B singer Heather Victoria, Durham-based rap duo Swank & King Draft, and Charlotte’s Southside Gauxst.

Vincent, who signed with Roc Nation in 2021, recently released two tracks, “Trickin’” featuring Domani and “Humble Beast,” leading up to Friday’s album release.
