One of Charlotte’s beloved dive bars and music venues since 1984, Smokey Joe’s Cafe celebrates its 39th anniversary with a Thanksgiving week party featuring the music of Pyle Tribe, led by former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle and his son, singer-songwriter and guitarist, Chris Pyle. Also performing will be the Charlotte Bluegrass Allstars and the SRO Band with doors opening at 3 p.m. and music starting at 7 p.m. The Soul Gastrolounge food truck will be on site serving their full menu with anniversary drink specials at the bar.
