Charlotte’s favorite arcade bar, Super Abari (founded in 2016), celebrates their anniversary with a big block party this weekend with live music, food trucks, local vendors, and of course, video games! The event will feature performances by Charlotte rock bands Dipstick, Paint Fumes, Patois Counselors, and With Haste! along with DJ NPC curating the musical vibes throughout the day. Food trucks El Veneno and A Tana Empanada will be serving up their delicious tacos and empanadas with a local vendor market featuring Retro Love Shack, Charlotte Game Development, Comic Thunder, Dulce Dreams Cafe, Hammock Ceramic, Lexon Gaming, and Rotten Apple Games.
Proceeds from the event will also benefit The Bulb Mobile Market, a donation-based farmers market that provides free fresh and nutritious produce and wellness resources to food insecure areas in Charlotte.
