The War and Treaty are a soul/blues/rock band led by husband and wife duo Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter. Their major label debut album, Lover’s Game, produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, John Prine, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell), was released on March 10, 2023 through Universal Music Group Nashville following their three previous studio albums: Love Affair (2016), Healing Tide (2018), and Hearts Town (2020). The War and Treaty have opened up for artists such as Al Green, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, John Legend, collaborating with singer-songwriters Elvis Costello, Emmy lou Harris, Sturgill Simpson, and Zach Bryan.

William Prince is a Canadian folk/country singer-songwriter and musician based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 2017, Prince won the Juno Award for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year for his debut album, Earthly Days. He released a new album, Stand in the Joy, on April 14, 2022, also produced by Dave Cobb.
