Su Casa, one of Charlotte’s longest-running dance parties, will bring their annual We Love Fela Party to Noda Company Canteen (in the Boileryard at Camp North End) in partnership with Charlotte International Arts Festival to celebrate the founding father of Afrobeat music, Fela Kuti, and the production of Fela! The Concert (coming to The Amp Ballantyne on September 16). The event will feature DJ Steel Wheel playing a selection of Afrobeat hits, live art, face painting, and food trucks featuring authentic Nigerian cuisine. Attendees will also receive a promo code for discounted tickets to Fela! The Concert.
