Following the original announcement of Isaiah Rashad’s 2024 tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of his debut EP, Cilvia Demo, the Tennessee native has unveiled additional dates, making stops in Charlotte (May 28 at The Fillmore) and Raleigh (May 29 at The Ritz) this spring.
Cilvia Demo was Rashad’s first critically acclaimed project and his TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment) debut, released in January of 2014, featuring labelmates SZA, Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock, along with Chicago rapper/singer Jean Deaux. Rashad released his debut studio album, The Sun’s Tirade, in 2016, reaching No. 17 on the Billboard 200, on the strength of tracks like “Free Lunch” and “Wat’s Wrong” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Rashad last performed in North Carolina in 2021, following the release of his second studio album and major label debut, The House Is Burning. The music video for his single, “Headshots (4r da Locals),” from The House Is Burning, was directed by Raleigh, North Carolina native rapper and multi-faceted artist, Mez.
The Live Nation presale will begin Thursday, April 18 at 10 a.m. (code: RIFF) and tickets will go on sale to the public Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m.
