Big Richard is an acoustic group made up of Colorado musicians Bonnie Sims (mandolin), Joy Adams (cello), Emma Rose (bass, guitar), and Eve Panning (fiddle). The band blends traditional and modern bluegrass, oldtime, classical, country, and pop music, masterfully mashing up the genres with a four-part vocal harmony interlace.

Into The Fog

“The music of Raleigh’s Into the Fog is an amalgamation of American roots music that comes together around a bluegrass foundation. Formed in 2017 for the competition at the legendary Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Into the Fog has been barreling down the road ever since.

Their 2021 album, Runnin’ Blind & Chasin’ Time brings rich storytelling and tight instrumentation with a dynamic blend of tracks. “Midnight in Montana” and “40 Eastbound Road” are blazing bluegrass ditties, while “Back to Tennessee” is a slow-moving ballad and “Less of my Mind” brings a jazzy swing to the mix.
