Native American pow wow style singers and drummers, the Medicine Singers, have been collaborating with Israeli guitarist, producer, and composer Yonatan Gat (Monotonix) since 2017, and their groundbreaking experimental album, Medicine Singers, was released in 2022. The musical forces combine to generate an entrancing sound and live show also featuring Canadian shoegaze musician Zoon (Daniel Monkman).
Daikaiju is an anonymous kaiju-themed surf punk band from Alabama formed in 1999. The band released their debut self-titled album in 2005 and have toured Europe, Asia, and North America. Fitted with kabuki masks for their high-energy live performances, Daikaiju is touring in 2023 following the release of their latest album, Phase 3.
