Illiterate Light is an indie rock duo from Virginia, consisting of Jeff Gorman (vocals, guitar, synth) and Jake Cochran (drums, vocals). The band released their self-titled debut in 2019 through Atlantic Records, and their sophomore album, Sunburned, in 2023 through Thirty Tigers. Blending garage rock with psychedelic and Americana tones, Illiterate Light has performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, and Newport Folk Festival.
