The Independent Picture House will host an Oscars viewing party and fundraiser for the 95th Academy Awards this Sunday, March 12. The event ticket will include the live viewing with complimentary drinks, heavy appetizers, a professional photo, and Oscar-nominated short films screening throughout the building. Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit youth outreach, education, and community initiatives at The Independent Picture House. The dress code is “awards chic,” so they suggest to “glam it up.”

Opened in June of 2022, The Independent Picture House is a non-profit community cinema that screens a diverse mix of foreign, arthouse and independent films throughout their three auditoriums, featuring state-of-the-art projection and sound.
