Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band is a high-energy Asheville-based funk rock band formed in 2002. The band has released four studio albums with their latest, Funk Life, in 2015. They have shared the stage with acts like Parliament Funkadelic, Galactic, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Dumpstaphunk, Maceo Parker, and Bootsy Collins.
Electro Lust is an electronic funk brass band from Asheville, North Carolina, consisting of members of Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, The Fritz, and Empire Strikes Brass.
