The Black Keys are returning to Charlotte with The Head and the Heart in October

Update: The Black Keys have cancelled all of their 2024 tour dates. The band revealed on social media they will be announcing revised dates that will offer a more “intimate experience for both fans and the band.”

The Black Keys have announced a 2024 tour in support of their forthcoming album, Ohio Players, out on April 5. The 31-date run will include a stop in Charlotte on October 16 at Spectrum Center with Seattle indie folk band, The Head and the Heart.

The Akron, Ohio blues rock duo consisting of singer-songwriter, musician and producer Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, are coming off their 2022 album, Dropout Boogie, which was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. Ohio Players will be the band’s 12th studio album and released through Auerbach’s label, Easy Eye Sound and Nonesuch Records. 

The Head and the Heart, a soulful six-piece folk band fronted by singer and multi-instrumentalist Josiah Johnson, who released their debut self-titled studio album through Sub Pop Records in 2011, are coming off their fifth album, Every Shade of Blue, in 2022.

Artist pre-sale will start on Wednesday, April 3 at 10 a.m. and tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m.
