Grammy Award-winning rapper Common will host free socially distanced concert in Charlotte

Grammy Award-winning rapper, actor and activist Common will be in Charlotte on Sunday, November 1 for a healthcare press conference hosted by Biden-Harris campaign and a free socially-distanced concert at The Park Expo & Conference Center from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

The press conference will take place at 1:30 p.m. and will include Congresswoman Alma Adams, Mayor Vi Lyles, State Representative Chaz Beasley, NAACP Charlotte President Dr. Corine Mack, and entrepreneur and Covid-19 survivor John Clifton. 

The free concert comes after this week’s announcement of Common’s new album A Beautiful Revolution Pt 1. released on Friday, October 30 and visits to Atlanta and Greensboro on the Biden-Harris campaign trail.
